Rules

To ensure the best experience for everyone on NewSpawn, we demand that you follow these Rules at all times:

  1. Remember the human: never attempt to have a negative impact over the experience of any other user of NewSpawn.
    Behavior that is not allowed includes:
    1. Offending, harassing or doxxing players1)
    2. Damaging, stealing or trespassing on other players' private property2)
    3. Attacking players without their consent
    4. Building traps on public ground or on other people's land without their permission
    5. Occupying or hoarding large territories, which you did not significantly improve, to claim them as private property
    6. Building lag machines or leaving any kind of permanent unattended Redstone loop
    7. Using bots or AFK farms
    8. Using any kind of mod that can give you an unfair advantage over others
    9. Nicknames, skins and profile pictures containing obscenity of any sort are against the rules
  2. What happens on NewSpawn stays on NewSpawn: don't buy or sell any kind of item or favor in exchange for currency3) or objects outside the game.
  3. Don't abuse the server: never attempt to harm NewSpawn or its related services and data.
    Behavior that is not allowed includes:
    1. Any type of hacking, spam or phishing attempt, targeting players or the server as a whole
    2. Staying inactive/AFK for extended periods of time
  4. Keep chat tidy.
    This includes:
    1. Using English exclusively in the public chat
    2. Not spamming the in-game chat and other communication channels
    3. Not using NewSpawn as an advertisement platform without permission
    4. Avoiding excessive cursing
    5. The following content is not allowed:
      1. Hate Speech4)
      2. Use of recreational drugs or any other illegal activity
      3. Political and Religious Extremism5)
      4. Defamatory and/or insulting speech
      5. Impersonation of other people
      6. Explicit/Adult Content, and references thereto
  5. The law is the same for everyone: do not ask Admins or Helpers for extra permissions or preferential treatment.
  6. Never exploit in-game bugs which harm the server or other players, which duplicate items, blocks or entities, or which have an impact over the world at large.
  7. Never help another user violate a Rule.
  8. Do not cheat other players.
    Behavior that is not allowed includes:
    1. Lying to other players in order to gain an in-game advantage
    2. Not fulfilling a contract signed using the Book and Quill item
    3. Using multiple game accounts, playing on an account that doesn't belong to you or allowing others to play in your stead

Violating NewSpawn rules can get you banned permanently from NewSpawn, potentially without any previous warning and without a chance to appeal, depending on the severity of the breach. including cryptocurrency, regardless of it carrying any monetary value

This includes any act of verbal discrimination, which is also a Rule 1 violation, along with use of racial, sexual etc. slurs

We recommend avoiding political discussion altogether
