This is the Official NewSpawn Wiki. It intends to bring a more cohesive, curated and authentic experience compared to the previous wiki—now discontinued—originally created by GamerGeeked.

NewSpawn is a unique server for both Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. On NewSpawn, the World Spawn location is moved every week to a random location. Players are automatically moved there and can collaborate to build a new settlement, as well as connect it to other builds in the rest of the world. The idea for NewSpawn, based on azoundria's now-defunct “NewSpawn Classic”, was shared by former player EggYoch in a Reddit comment on April 19 2019, which alex2003super came across and decided to replicate, on a new server with tons of improvements and new features.

Since April 20 2019, our server's vibrant community welcomes NewSpawners¹⁾ of all sorts. Whether you prefer a more authentic, vanilla-style survival, or you want to trade with other players and help build secret underground tunnels between the latest weekly SpawnSpots, or create a majestic castle and hang out with your friends, we have something for you. With superb game performance, stellar server uptime, an effective voluntary moderation team, and the promise that the map is never going to be reset, deleted or mishandled, NewSpawn is a cool and safe place to experiment with (and showcase) your creative ideas!

NewSpawn pledges to protect user data and safety while not getting in the way of fun times. The NewSpawn world, containing all of your builds and items, will never be deleted or reset. Should there ever come a time where the current administrators will be unable to host or manage NewSpawn, it will either be put in safe hands that can allow NewSpawn to continue its journey, or released as a downloadable custom map for everyone to enjoy for free.
